Smoke Screen System

Custom Smoke Screen system channeled through the exhaust. We do have an authentic smoke screen system installed on the Tork Gt that would be used ONLY when SAFE and necessary, in order to slow down opponents. The system was installed right before the last Gumball without thorough testing.

The smoke screen works by spraying a oil propellent directly into the exhaust headers. The propellent then burns up to create ALLOT of smoke.

For this to work, the exhaust has to be very HOT. Having the car idle will not get it hot enough to burn.

When running at speed we used the smoke screen, and the exhaust was hot enough to burn, however because of the very short exhaust system on the GT the propellent was shot out of the exhaust before it had a chance to fully burn up. Needless to say we were unable to use the smoke screen during this years rally as we had hoped.

We will be redesigning the system with a collector in the exhaust to that the propellent will not be shot out at speed, and will in fact burn up to create a huge screen of smoke.
