GWAC - Ground Warning & Control - Ford GT aka Tork GT
The Tork GT uses a sophisicated array of technology and counter measure equipment in order to gain a clear advantage against all those who dare challenge Torquenstein!!! With our GWAC sytem team Tork is clearly able to thwart those who stand in the way of total and absoulte victory.

Valentine One

Police Radar Detection

Valentine One - We have tried the best radar detectors there are including the yet to be released BEL STI Driver. However we find the Valentine One to be supreme amongst all radar detectors. We run THREE Valentine One detectors. Read More about our Valentine One Radar Detector or you can order your own Valentine One Radar Detector from Amazon.

Laser Jammer

Laser Jammers

Blinder M40, M20 & Lidatek Le30 Jammers- If your laser detector goes off on your V1 or laser detector, you are done! When you hear the beep your speed has been detected and recorded. Laser is heavily used in Europe. Especially in eastern Europe. We have two front and rear systems installed. The Blinder M40 up front (four jamming heads) and the Blinder m20 in the rear (two jamming heads). Read More about our Laser Jammers

Smoke Screen System

Global Positioning Satellites

Garmin Street Pilot 2730 - To be successful in Gumball, Navigation is clearly the MOST IMPORTANT factor. You don't need to drive 180+ mph if you can out-navigate your oppenents. If you go 200mph in the wrong direction like some gumballers have. Read More about our Garmin GPS

Smoke Screen System

Custom Smoke Screen system channeled through the exhaust. We do have an authentic smoke screen system installed on the Tork Gt that would be used ONLY when SAFE and necessary, in order to slow down oppenents. The system was installed right before the last Gumball without thorough testing. The smoke screen works by spraying a oil propellent directly into the exhaust headers. The propellent then burns up to create ALLOT of smoke. Read More about Smoke Screen System

Rear Light Kill Switch

Rear light KILL switch

Ability to kill our rear lights during night driving. When driving at night through hosting countries the TORK GT is virtually unstoppable! You can not pull over what you can not see!!

If for any reason we do try to get pulled over, especially at night. The COA (course of action) will be to first hit the smoke screen and then immediately kill the lights. You then speed (if not already) up to a Gumball speed of 160+ and take the first exit you see. Since you already have alternate routes entered in your GPS you will then proceed on the alternate route.

Radar Drone

Radar Drone

K band radar drone - Normally we would keep this top secret to keep other Gumballers in the dark. However I don't feel many other Gumballers will read this tech section. If they do, cudos to them. There is a front & rear radar emitter running on K band installed on the Tork GT. The smart Gumballers who know what frequencies are being used in the countries they are in will be able to figure this out. Most others will not. Read More About our Radar Drone

Rear Brake Light

Rear brake light kill switch

Ability to kill only our brake lights. Why do you ask would we want to kill our brake lights? Of course we would only do this when safe to do so. As you may/may not know, team Tork is a Gumball Trophey winner for safety. Safety is our #1 priority. Read More about our Rear Brake Light Kill Switch

Photo Jammer

Photo Jammer

VF2 Photo Jammer We run a VF2 Photo jammer above the rear license plate of the GT. The photo jammer blinds any pictures taken by fixed photo speed traps or red light traps. The jammer detects the flash from the hostile photo unit and in mear mili seconds sends out an additional flash directly on the plate. The picture is then absolutely over exposed

We got stopped by a road block on the 2006 Gumball in Belgium. The police asked about our photo jammer and we nearly told him it was our "license plate light" which in fact it is.

CB

CB

Uniden CB Radio - We run a Uniden CB to keep in touch with other Gumballers in close range that also run CBs. This comes in very handy at times.

During the US leg of the 06 Gumball, the CB was used extensively for Bear checks and speed traps. It worked out very well.

During team Tork's first place run to Vegas and first place (tie with team Polizei) run to the finish line on Rodeo Drive, not once were we clocked for speeding during the entire US leg.

Uiden Scanner

Scanner

Uiden Scanner While in the US we run a Uniden scanner to keep tabs on what is happening around us. Very handy in the US, not at all usefull oversees in non english speeking countries.

LED Warning Lights

LED warning lights

Hi Intensity LED warning lights. The LED Visor lights we run are much more for safety then anything else. When running rallies such as the Gumball it is very help full to have a warning system in place just as extra percaution. The nice side effect though is that civilians on the road clear a path so you may proceed completley unhindered

200 Watt Siren

Siren

200 watt Siren- To complete your road going safety system, it is necessary to run a siren to complement your lights. Not to pull other rally participants over, but to warn other civilians that you are getting close and to clear a path. The undercover siren we run is 100 watts & has Wale, Yelp, Horn, & Phaser.

Mobile Infrared Transmitter

MIRT

Mobile Infrared Transmitter- Gumball is normally sanctioned by the countries we are traveling through. Therefore in order to increase safety and our rally times, we run a Stealth MIRT (Mobile Infrared Transmitter) in order to change the traffic lights from red to green. Not many countries use this technology so normally we see no benefit and have to rely HEAVILY on good spotting, hand signals, flashing lights, and a very loud siren to clear intersections and let others know of our presence,
